About the Student Advisory Council

School Advisory Council (SAC) is an excellent way for parents and caregivers to get involved in your child’s education and experience at Warren Park Jr. PS!

How we work

All parents, caregivers, and guardians of children attending Warren Park Jr. Public School are encouraged to attend School Council meetings and can always volunteer for various activities at the school and school council committees – you do not need to be a member of the executive council to participate on council!

Election

The Warren Park SAC aims to have a 7-person elected council

Our commitment

Elected members of the council should make a commitment to attend meetings to vote on council matters.

Initial meeting

The election of all council members will be held at the first official meeting of the year.

If there are no more than 7 interested candidates, the nominees will be acclaimed.

Minimum requirements

Once all the members of the council are elected, they will then choose which position to hold on the council.
